| Ballymaloe House & Shop Cafe |
Our award winning restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. We pride ourselves on using the freshest local ingredients from our family farms and local producers.
Our restaurant serves full lunches from 1pm and our café is open for lighter lunches. Our extremely popular Sunday lunch is a hot buffet served at 1 o'clock.
Dinner on weekdays a choice of hot soups or cold starters is followed by a fish or pâté course. The main course is a choice of prime fish, poultry or meat from our local suppliers, accompanied by seasonal local vegetables. Our much-loved cheese board and dessert trolley are followed by coffee or tea and delectable petit fours to complete the meal. A vegetarian option in every course is always available
Friday nights dinner starts with our famous hors d'œuvres buffet. The speciality is fresh shellfish gathered that morning in Kenmare Bay: lobster, mussels, prawns, skate wing and smoked salmon are just a few of the fish to grace the buffet, accompanied by pates and salads.
Sunday nights dinner is a splendid buffet of freshly prepared meats and salads along with homemade soups and desserts.
All the biscuits, breads and desserts we serve are made in our own kitchens, for the ultimate freshness and flavour.
