Yachting in Cork
Cork Harbour in East Cork is the second largest harbour in the world and has a very strong tradition for sailing and yachting. East Cork is home to the oldest yacht club in the world
The Royal Cork was originally located in Cobh where the Sirius Arts Centre is currently situated. There are many fixtures throughout the year and Cork Week
is the highlight of the yachting calendar which takes place Bi-Annually in July

Road Bowling in Cork
Road Bowling is played with a 28 oz. (793.8 grams) solid iron bowl and is most prevalent in Ireland in County Cork . Two contestants match their individual skills in throwing the bowl over a predetermined course distance of normal roadway. The winner is the player to reach the finishing line in the least number of throws or shots.
